Some of the pictures I have taken are well suited to being used as
a background on your computer display, usually known as wallpaper.
My first digital camera was a Kodak DC290 (2.1 megapixel). You can see below
that the DC290 can produce good images if you work within its limitations as a
point-and-shoot; for example,
“Dawn Seagulls”
and
“Kaleden”
were taken with it.
My current camera is a Nikon CoolPix 5700 (5 megapixel). It too has its
limitations, but all in all, it is an excellent camera for the type of
photography I like to do.
“Mt. Baker Sunrise”
and
“New Leaf”
are examples. Check out “New Leaf” in
1600x1200
format, and imagine what the original 2560x1920 image must look like.
If you like any of these pictures, you are welcome to use them as wallpaper.
To install them, click on the link for the appropriate display size, then
right-click on that image and select "Set as Wallpaper", or "Set as
Background".
